New First Name
My adorable little 23 month old MUST think is new first name is, "Seriously". Because alllll day long he is getting into mischief and making messes, and getting hurt, and crying if I walk in another room without him, and pretty much driving me crazy! ha ha. And all day long I say, "Seriously Kase?" or "SERIOUSLY???" or "Seriously!!!" After this crazy stage he is going through, hopefully he will know is real first name is my sweet "Kase". But for right now, he is stuck with the name of SERIOUSLY!

2nd Grader!
Our sweet Kaylee-girl is now in 2nd Grade! It is hard to believe it! I'm pretty sure this is her last year to love princesses on everything. :( She is growing up! Here is the photo-shoot for the first day of school. I made this #2 sign hoping it would go with her first day of school outfit. ha ha What-evv.
Here are the kiddos with their cheesy smiles! Kase is wearing Konnors jammie shirt, and it is SO big on him, but he insisted. I aim to please. ha ha
Below, is my pretty little girl!
I personally love this pic! My little dancer in action!
There is a big US map at school, and we sent pic. text messages to our "out of town" family. She was pointing to AZ, for my side, CA. for Kyles side. We had fun with that one!
Kaylee and Laynee decided to coordinate their outfits for the first day of school. Laynee gave the outfit Kaylee is wearing to her as her birthday present! Good looking out Laynee! So they wanted to wear them on the first day of school.. And now they are in the SAME class. Kaylee has never had friends that she really knew in her class, except this year! She has a couple really good friends in her class and she is happy as a button! (if buttons have feelings, they probably are happy right?)
The night before school, I did my traditional School themed dinner. I made signs in primary colors that said, "A, B, & C". And in front of each sign I put a bowl of Apples, Broccoli, and Carrots in it. Then we played ABC games and trivia during dinner. It was fun for all 5 of us. (Yes, Kyle had fun too! He was playing even after dinner was all over!) :) We did a family home evening on ABC's too. I encouraged Kaylee and Konnor thru a fun game because they are starting a new year of school. The A sign stood for "Always", the B sign stood for "Believe", and the C sign stood for "Can". All together means, "Always Believe I Can". Sometimes we learn things in life that we don't pick up on right away or that makes us frustrated we cant learn, but if we always believe in ourselves, we can accomplish anything and conquer the world! Heavenly Father blessed us with very powerful minds and it is up to us to use them to their fullest potential!
Right before bed, Kyle gave Kaylee a Fathers Blessing for the school year. It was very special! Our little Kaylee is amazing, and I can't wait for her to learn all sorts of new things this year! LOVE HER. FYI: Konnor starts preschool next week, so his post will come that day!

LAKE POWELL!
Ok... just know that this post has a LOT of pics. I don't know how to blog about Lake Powell without a TON of pics. So here ya go... We camp on the beach and anchor the boats. Camping at Lake Powell is not for the casual camper! It is extreme camping! And SO much fun! This year we had no scorpions, snakes, ants, or anything else we didn't like. Just an occasional bat or 5 at night. So much fun crammed into one week!
Captain Konnor

This is a massive tunnel system we found right by our camp site. Super cool.
Turtle fun!
Konnors FAVE thing to do at powell this year was JUMP off the boat.
She is a "Toad Whisperer", who knew.
MY super handsome hubby!
Kase and his PUPPY! Can't leave home without that!
Catchin some air!
Kyle and I decided to rent a Jet Ski for fun this year. And FUN it was!
Best buddies! Isn't that the cutest pic you have ever laid eyes on?!
Rainbow bridge kiss
Kim and I had a ton of fun riding this bad boy up and over the wake of the boat! hee hee.
I put all of the crackers in my mouth at once because I need my hands for much more important things! Don't mess!
Gotta do a little dancing on the trip! 4 dancers in the family... just a must!
Grandpa and Kaylee caught a catfish. (Kaylee's face says it all)
MEXICAN FIESTA NIGHT!!!! -Every year at Powell, we are doing a themed party for a night. We decorate the camp site, we dress up, we have themed food, and have a blast. This year we decided on the Mexican fiesta theme!
The crew (minus Kyle) he was taking the pic.
I found mustaches for everyone to sport at the party!
Our little fam!
Lake Powell is fun every year and different every year too. This year was our smallest year since the Clampetts Go To Powell began. We surely missed Kathie and Paul, Jake, Jen and Adam, Danny and Melony! I can't wait for next year when we can have a more full Powell party! Love all those that came and those that weren't able to. Till next year.
Camping fun
Our little family LOVES to go camping! I mean... just look at these smiles.
Kaylee was a happy camper picking flowers!
Kase was a happy camper playing on anything and getting into everything!
Kaylee is also known as the "Butterfly Whisperer". (Try not to look at how dirty her little hands are. Don't judge, we were "camping"!)
It is crazy, but this little guy LOVES his helmet!
Kaylee and Kaybree. (there is a shortage of girl cousins!) Come on siblings, have a couple more girls! ;) * You know who you are! ;) ;)
Grandpa Keith had to join in on the fun for a night! I mean, all you have to do is look at Konnor, and you will know how much fun we were having! (cheeseball)

Kaylee's Beach Bash
Kaylee wanted to have a party AT a pool this year. Whoa... easier in many ways for my obsessive party tendencies, but harder in other ways. We reserved a party room at the J.L. Soreneson pool in Herriman. It was a lot of fun! They provided, pizza, drinks, goodie bags, and all the decorations!
They had slides, kiddie pools, lazy river, whirl pool, lily pads, etc...
So all of the kids... ALL 12 of them met at our house and we drove them to the pool. Kyle, Emily, and I were the chauffeurs! They were awesome! Kyle was our photographer, and Emily and Erika were my waitresses and lifeguards. What a big help they were!
Kaylee decided on flip flops to be the main decoration to her beach
bash. Her invites were a big flip flop that swiveled open with the info
in it. Here is the cake. At home, we hung paper flip flops on
strings, and put them on the door... Here:
Here are some fun pics at the pool...
Drey and I on the kiddie slide. It doesn't look like much, but it SHOOTS you out like a canon!
Our pretty beach princess!
Here is the beach crew after the party... Wet and wild and having a blast!
Me begging for help!
12 kids at the pool was a little ambitious, but somehow we all lived to tell the tale.
Our lily pad champ!
It is hard to believe my sweet girl is SEVEN! That seems so old. ha ha. She is my sunshine, and helper! I don't know what I would do without her! I love her to pieces!

Timpooneke Lake
Kyle found some new dirt-bike trails... so I took the kids for a drive around the mountain in the truck while he was riding the trails. Then the kids and I went and walked around the lake for a bit, and then Kyle showed up. So we walked around the lake and found a tree swing. Good times!
Crazy poses! I think these 3 kids are related to us! ha ha

Girls Camp!
I LOVE Girls Camp! And this year was NO different. For those of you readers that don't know what "Girls Camp" is, it is a once a year camp for girls in the LDS faith ages 12-18 to go have fun and have faith building opportunities! It is a chance for them to be away from their phones, tv, and just ENJOY the outdoors. And it was amazing! We had a western theme. We called it "How the West Was ONE". (meaning being "one" with God, one with ourselves, and one all together.)
This is our big group of amazing Young Women and leaders! I just LOVE them all!
My compadre, Emily and I in matching shirts. Yes, we planned it. ha ha
Lauren and I with our cowboy facial hair! We are looking good with the staches huh! ha ha
On the last night, we had a testimony meeting. (A time for anyone willing and wanting to share their testimonies or things they believe with the group). It was a very powerful night! These young women are girls of faith, dedication, and courage! It is not always easy as a teenager to stand up for what is right. But these girls DO! And I couldn't be more proud of them!
