Princess Royal Ball

What a fun party this was! I transformed the house into a Royal Princess Ball.  It was so much fun to do!  Above are the place settings.  Each girl had her own place card with a princess on it.
Above: This is Kaylee at the Royal Beauty Station.  Upon the princesses arrivals, they went to the beauty station to put on a necklace, ring, and sparkle spray.  They LOVED that!
Below:  Is the ROYAL entrance.  Balloons, and a "purple carpet".

Here is the Princess Table.

Here is the sign that hung on the door.

Below was my favorite addition, "Ursula's Hot Dogs".  I just printed Ursula's pic off the computer and attached toothpicks.  Then boiled the hot dogs.  WA LA!  Octopus Hot dogs!
Here was the Princess cake and cupcakes.  The cupcakes had little tiaras and edible sparkles on them.  It wasn't my usual frosting, so it wasn't as pretty as I was hoping.  But it was all I could work with.
Here is my little princess with her birthday sign.
More pics will come....

Kaylee's FIRST SLUMBER PARTY

Kaylee's best friends Ayden and Claire West were in town this past week from Michigan.  They got to go to Kate's b-day party.  Here are some highlights.

Konnor joined in on the festivities too!

After Kate's party, I drove the kids to our house for their first SLUMBER PARTY!  Below is the lucky bunch.  (Ayden, Kaylee, Claire, Konnor, & Kate)

It took them all of 3 minutes to get into princess dresses!  Ha ha  They were having a "popcicle party" on the porch!  (with these girls, EVERYTHING was a party of some sort!)

Then we made our way to the park in our neighborhood for some play time!
It was a "park play party".  HA HA
Below: Kate and Ayden with the purple dino.

Kaylee and Claire headed for the swings, just like old times.
Then we came home and cooled off, with water and then a "Popcorn Party"  while watching the Princess and the Frog movie.  THEY LOVED THAT!  They danced to all of the fun songs, and giggled all day!
Then we did a "princess craft party"!  :)

After that, we had pizza and hotdogs with fruit for dinner.  And then we read scriptures and prayed as a family before bedtime!
Below:  Here are the girls in the BIG BED!  We turned them sideways so they could all fit.  ha ha

In the morning they all wanted breakfast shakes like Kaylee has.  Then I made berry muffins and Wendy brought over some fruit for breakfast!  That was such a fun night I won't soon forget.  Kaylee is still so excited about her sleep-over with her girls!  When the Wendy and the girls pulled out of the driveway, it was a VERY sad moment for Kaylee, Me, Shelly, and Kate!  You can't always find or make friends like that!  Now they live in Michigan, and part of our hearts are there with them.

Cul-De-Sac Reunion

What a fun Cul-De-Sac reunion that was!
Our very good friends, good food, lots of laughing!  Life is good!

Kaylee was SO EXCITED to spend time with Ayden and Claire West, and Kate!
These girls used to play together EVERY SINGLE DAY!  They were practically like sisters!

Mark was late to the party, and it took all of 10 seconds for this to happen!!!! LOL!!! Go Jeremy!

Konnor was loving life!  Can't you tell?!

Here is the Old Sac Gang! (minus a couple)
The serious pose....

Here is the Sac NOT so serious.

Konnor was a cheesy man that night!  Kaylee was too busy running around playing like old times, for me to get her in many pics.
I miss this group of friends.  We had a lot of fun times together, lots of good memories, lots of long talks, play groups, dinners, service rendered to each other continually, it doesn't get any better than THAT!  We love you all!

DigiCamp

We went camping with a few families from Kyles work.  (DigiCert).  It was a lot of fun.
Konnor was loving all the fun things to do while camping!  Looking for deer, playing in the dirt, watching the guys toss the football, getting into snacks etc...

We all met on the Nebo Loop up the Payson canyon.  There were 5 guys from work, the wives, 4 toddlers, and 3 pregnant women! Needless to say, had a BLAST!

Football time!
Konnor LOVED Tina!  He brought her flowers and leaves for the LONGEST time.  In fact as I am posting this on my computer, Konnor keeps smiling and pointing at Tina, saying "Thess Tina".  Jon-Jon better watch out, he has competition!
Thanks to everyone who came!  You all made it a really good time!

Camping with Grandma n Grandpa

We made a last minute decision to meet up with Kathie & Paul for a camping trip.  We went in Soap Stone Basin, just outside of Kamus.  (sp).  It was a LOT of fun!  And the view was spectacular!  Here is my Kaylee girl with her walking stick!
Below:  Is Kaylee and Konnor running ahead to go find "Bucky", the 4pt. buck that walked into our campground last night.
Kathie and Paul at the top of the mountain!  It was  REALLY green!

Kyle looking through the scope at the view.
Konnor wanted to be a part of every second of that male bonding experience!
Here is Kyle looking so handsome in his "Man-Gear".
Kaylee and Konnor lounging in grandmas hammock!  They loved that thing!
Fun times had by all!

4th of July Weekend!

We went to Yuba Lake on Saturday morning.  Keith, Lynn, Jake, Emily, Tyler, Kyle, Me, Kaylee & Konnor were all in attendance!  It was a super fun time!  Below: You can see Kaylee posing as the Boat Princess!

Here is our lil family soakin up the sun!

Kyle on the wake-board! Rockin it over the wakes.
Kyle and Kaylee in the FREEZING water!
After the lake, Kyle, Kaylee and I booked it home to shower and get ready for the STADIUM OF FIRE with CARRIE UNDERWOOD!  That was a blast!

Above: Kaylee and I at the BYU stadium just before it started!
Kaylee and Kyle waiting and eating before the show.
Below:  Here are the F-16's flying over the stadium.  They were obviously very fast, so by the time I pushed the button on my camera, they were on the other side of the stadium.  This was a highlight for my Kyle.  Then one of the pilots came on the big screen to wish us a Happy 4th.  And to tell us that 3 of the 4 of the pilots were Eagle Scouts.  (That was one of the themes for the night- Boy scouts and eagle scouts)

Eclipse Night!

As most of you know, I am a Twilight Fan!  We always get tickets for the opening night of the movie.  This time a couple things were different.  We didn't have Marie or Candace there.  But I DID DRAG KYLE along with us!  He said, "I have to turn in my 'Man-Card' for coming to this opening night with my wife!"  ha ha He was a good sport.
I got to bring Niki along too!  That was a blast!  I love her!  She is a newly claimed Twilight Fan.  And has read them twice!
Below: The gang.  James, (Ashley), Niki, Me, Kyle, Kathie, Janae, Paul, Janaes mom.

I wanted to do something nice for all of our group this round.  So I made Eclipse Movie Bags! Above Niki and Kathie are holding up their Twilight Chocolate Bars.
Below:  I made "Werewolf Kibble"  That one was a big hit! Plus, I made sure everyone got their favorite Eclipse Character on the bars.
Above:  "Edwards Vampire Venom"!  I  changed the label on juice and fruit punch gatorade.
I also included "Eclipse" gum and the red ribbon from the book cover.
All I can say is, WOW!  What a fun night!  The movie was fantastic, the company was a blast, and the movie bags were yummy! (If I don't say so myself)
