Our First Tree!

I NEVER thought I would be so excited about a tree and 3 bushes.  We got a Bradford Pear Tree (white blossoms in the spring, and orange/red leaves in the fall!)

The 3 new bushes are just below the front windows.

CINDERELLA

Kaylee took a toddler dance class from a studio by our home.  They had a dance recital and the theme was all about Cinderella.  (Which is Kaylee's favorite princess.)  She Loved dancing and getting all pretty in her costume.  She especially loved it when she got to wear make-up and have an up-do, (which I did all by myself!)  ha ha

Above: is one of her favorite parts in the dance.
Kaylee's good friend next door, Mara came to the recital to support her friend.  Kaylee was VERY happy that she was there. (Take note at the "Proud Grandma Gaze"!  Kathie was a fun support for Kaylee-girl!)
After Kaylee danced, Konnor couldn't take it much longer in his seat, so daddy took him in the foyer.  And this is what was waiting for him!

After the recital, we went to get ICE CREAM CONES!!!!  Which is what I always did after MY dance concerts.  It is tradition, I guess.
GOOD times, had by all.  The love of dance continues in our family!  (at least for now...)

Jump On It!

Kyles work is seriously the best company EVER!  A few weeks ago they planned a family night at "Jump On It"  (a place with a ton of trampolines and bouncy slides etc...)
This first pic is of Kyle "after" jumping.  Upon closer review you can see the drops of sweat from jumping like a wild child for a few hours!
Here is Kaylee girl on the bouncy thing.  She was  a brave little thing.  She was the one who came to me and said, "Mom, I want to do that big jump with the straps, can I?"  She was SO BRAVE!
Thank  you DIGICERT!  It was a wonderful night!  Our whole family loved it.  Even I got to play pregnancy dodge ball.  ha ha

Baby Chicks

Grandpa Keith got a bunch of baby chicks!  And did that ever make these two kids of mine HAPPY!!!!!  Kaylee was SO into it!  She kept telling the "chickys", "It's ok little sweetie, I won't hurt you.  I will be soft."

I love her face in this 2nd pic!
Konnor loved to pet their heads.  He kept saying, "Cheep cheep" over and over.  It was so cute!

DANCE!

I love dance!  And now I KNOW that my daughter does too!  Phew!  (I was hoping she would, hee hee)  I taught a toddler dance class in our home over the past 5 months, and it was a blast.  Kaylee loved having her friends come over and learn dance here.
I wanted to do a performance for her at the end of the session.  So we had that at a friends house (one of the dancers houses).  It was a lot of fun and the girls had a fun time each week!  They all did a great job on the day of the dance performance too! (even though it was REALLY cold and windy outside!)  I taught 11 girls (3-5 year olds).  We worked on ballet, jazz, and tumbling.

Here is my dancer-daughter, Kaylee and I!

And an honorable mention award goes to my wonderful HUBBY, who set up sound equipment for our dancers to perform to.  He said, " MY daughter will not perform her first dance recital with a lame c-d player!  We will use our good sound equipment for her and her friends."  Set up and take down took longer than the 3 dances the girls performed!  ha ha, but it DID sound great!
