If you know me at all, you know I love holidays! I especially love St. Patrick's Day! What a fun time! Kaylee's homework was to make a "leprechaun trap". She designed it all on her own. She loves things that sparkle and knows that leprechauns like things that are shiny so.... She made "The Leprechauns House of Jewels". Like her grandma Lynn, she made a sparkly beaded strand with mostly green beads! Then she made a little bead box, and put a bunch of sparkly beads in there, a green sparkly bed, and shiny leprechaun hats everywhere. Then to top it off, we painted the whole thing inside and out green and added gold sparkle paint all over.
For mutual that week, I wanted to have a fun twist to the night. So i told them to wear as much green as possible and there would be a prize to the best young woman and young man! Fun times. Pics of the food table will come. That was fun for me to do!
ON the actual day, I made a green breakfast. We had green milk, green eggs, and bacon. Then we had a fun day all wearing green. Even if we didn't match, we wore as much green as possible! ha ha Good times.

Nursery!
KASE is 18 months!
And in my church, when a child turns 18 months, its a pretty big deal. The reason is: you can take them to their own classroom! Little chairs, LOTS of toys, snacks, songs, a little lesson, fun teachers- you get the point!! Plus, you don't have to wonder the halls with the little guy because he is too talkative during the adult Sunday school classes. ha ha
So, it was Kase's first day of NURSERY today! He did AWESOME! Kaylee and Konnor struggled for months to leave mom and dad when they went to nursery. But Kase did great today! Kyle dropped him off and Kase sat in the little chairs, and then when he got off to play with some fun toys, Kyle left the room. Kase saw him leave, and he DID NOT freak out! In fact, he didn't cry at all, until the last couple minutes of church! I am so impressed with him. It may be a different story next week. ha ha. But this week, he did remarkable for his first time! Way to be little buddy!

Red Ribbon Week
Kaylee's School celebrates Red Ribbon Week to become more aware of our hearts and good health.
So they get to dress up each day with a different theme.
Mon. was hat day. She wore a princess cowgirl hat with braided piggy tails.
Tues. was "crazy hair day"... And lets just say her hair was crazy! She had pony's all over the place with toe separators (for painting your nails) IN her hair, cookie cutter, and purple braided clip ins, IN her hair! It was awesome! I forgot to take a pic in the morning. But I got one when she got home. It was a super windy day, so it fell a little. She left with the 5 pony's sticking straight up/out!
Then wed. was jersey day. She wanted to wear a BYU shirt, but we don't have one for her right now in her size. So we checked in Konnor's drawer. And there was a 2T BYU shirt in there! IT FIT HER! (She is 6 years old!) Crazy! Then Thursday was wear Red day. She was in HEAD to toe red! Red shirt, red skirt, red tights, red hair bow! She won the most red in her class award! Friday is Pajama day! So last night she came to me and said, "Mom! so since tomorrow is pajama day, does that mean I can just get out of bed and go to school?" I said, "Well, I guess so. You don't have to change your clothes. You can just put shoes and a jacket on and go." She was SOOoo excited!
Kaylee had a fun week! And I had fun too! I loved seeing all of the kids wearing the theme of the day! They were all so cute!

30% MORE space!
We now have what feels like, a LOT more space!
We have our 2nd guest room..

Kyles MAN CAVE! It is not fully decorated yet, but it has all of his favorite things!
He even has a computer to work in peace and quiet!
MY DANCE STUDIO! My favorite place in the house! I love love love love it! I know have nearly 30 students! It is
Most of the mirrors!
The floor!
Kyle made himself a work bench! It is the most sturdy and heavy bench I have EVER seen! Way to be hubby!
Now that we have 3 stories of usable space to live in, we are trying to figure out what to call each level. Upstairs, main?, and basement/downstairs?. Levels 1, 2, & 3? ha ha

ALL Done!
We, (ok... mostly Kyle) finished the basement!
Whoot whoot!
Here is the dance floor, mirror, and
gem turquoise wall!
I got the vinyl from my dear friend Maryanne.
"I hope you dance" and "5..6..7..8..." And I absolutely love it!

I decided to add a second mirrored wall.
We have two bedrooms and a bath done too! (Kyles Man Cave, and a guest room)
Here is the new bed, bedding, and a piece of family artwork my Great Aunt Zelma Basha did.
She really captured the AZ dessert in this one!
Love this new space!
We are not done with decorating,
but one thing at a time right!?!!!
More pics will follow of the man cave and bathroom.
My man worked like a dog to get this done. And it has only been done for one week, and we have already had 2 family visits with sleepovers in the new bed!
Love the dance room, love my husbands work ethic, love the extra space, Love it all!

Dance Progress
Well.. We have all of the trim done, all of the walls are painted! Kyle is working on the wood floor as I blog! I am SO excited! We went with the gem turquoise color. (in the pic it looks more blue).
But here are some pics for you to see!
Kaylee is just as excited about this space as I am... well, almost!
Just seeing this wood floor go in, is like a DREAM come true!
And thanks to this man right here, he is making ALL of my dreams come true! Love him!
This is a better pic for the color. It is paired with a sandstone color, with white trim.
If any of you are feeling the need to get your dance on, just come on over!

Scattered
My entire family is in Arizona. Kyles Dad lives in AZ (sort of), Jake is in Afghanistan, Kyles sisters are in LA. and Alabama, and Kyles mom just moved to CALIFORNIA!
So our family is officially ScATTerEd!!! :(
So when Paul and Kathie were about to move, we had a little dinner for them! I drove to Sanpete County and got some sentimental Sanpete Marinated Turkey! We also put together a "Moving to CA survival kit!" It included, tissue for Kathie, treats galore for the drive, trash bag, colored pages from the kids, sunflower seeds to keep awake etc... Here are some of the pics from their last night in UTAH.
The kids were using the place-mats as hats! Silly kids.
Then they got grandma to wear the new stylish hat! She willingly obliged.
The engaged couple! ;)
Kyle looking at ALL OF THE PAINT swatches for the basement! The look on his face says it all right!
Kathie and I
We love Kathie and Paul, and wish them the very best on their new adventure in CA.!
