Easter Egg Hunt

I have carried a tradition of a Neighborhood Easter Egg Hunt since Kaylee was 9 months old.  I invite a few of the neighbors over for an Easter Egg Hunt at my house the day before Easter.  This year the weather was amazing!  My tulips and daffodils were blooming for the occasion!
Here is Kaylee--
 Konman-- Smart boy!
 Kase--  "I got one!"
And then at the end of the hunt, I led them to a neighbors back yard where we hid 80 more eggs, plus an EMPTY EGG!  The egg is empty to symbolize the Saviors empty tomb that Easter morning.  Whomever found the EMPTY one, won a basket of the REAL meaning of this special holiday.  I bought a book about Jesus, some coloring books for church about the Resurrection and our Loving Savior.  Also some crayons, candy, pencils etc...  It is a tradition, I hope to keep up my whole life!  I love asking the children what the "real" meaning of Easter is!  They ALL knew!  It is a sacred holiday many overlook.  It is the day we celebrate that Jesus LIVES!  He rose on the third day and broke the bands of death.  We all will be resurrected!  It is one of the many gifts of our Savior, whom I love with all my heart!

I'm going to try not to take it personally that I wasn't invited this year. Whatever.
