We went camping as the leaves were changing. And wow, it was gorgeous! As an Arizona girl, we didn't get too much of the fire colors around. So every fall it is quite a treat!
We went on a few little hikes, had nummy food, kyle went riding his bike, it was all during the elk hunt! We could hear the elk bugles, and the wind in the trees, the smell of the fire, and the crackling sounds, just melted my heart!
LOOK AT THIS TREE!
We decided after we tore our camp site down, that we would go on a hike to see some pretty trees. It was a LONG 2 mile hike up and down hills with 3 small children! And let me just say, they ROCKED it! Kaylee was the holder of the GPS, Kyle had the camera, and I had the water and snacks.
A few hunters passed us on our way back to the truck. They asked us with wonderment and confusion in their eyes, "Where have you guys come from?" We told them where we started from and they COULD NOT believe we did it with the 3 little happy smiley kids! They called our kids "troopers". And that they were!
Look at that view!
Green, yellow, orange, and red all in one pic!
Love Utah!

I do love this part about fall...even though I know winter is just around the corner. Only the man upstairs could have arranged something so breath taking.
Oh, I miss those colors. Totally impressed by your little hikers!
