Good News & Bad News:
Good news is that Konnor does NOT have to have surgery!!!!!! Thank Heavens! He has to wear a green cast for the next 6 weeks!

Bad news: He fell again when we got home from the Dr. today and you can see the goose-egg on his forehead! What a fun 6 weeks this will be! I can see it now, the curious looks of strangers at the store. "Hmmm, poor kid. His mamma probably beats him!" CPS calls from neighbors, I can just see it now!...

But for all of you readers: I DO love my son with all my heart. :) He just falls ALL the time. And now I get to bathe him without getting his arm wet. YIKES. When he takes a bath, the whole bathroom is wet! Wish me luck with that one.

I am so glad that he doesn't have to have surgery. PHEW! I am so sorry that you have to get all wet though. LoL!!
(in the shower/bath) wrap his arm with a plastic bag- double check for holes. tie the top w a string or hair band to secure it from sliding down and out. i had a cast on my ankle/up to my knee 4 yrs ago, and that's what i had to do. at least its not his legs and he doesn't need crutches- then he would be falling and tripping every 2 seconds. ouch! been there.
he looks pretty happy considering his injuries. :)
Nice knot on his head! You could put it together with the arm in the same story and come up with one whopper of a tale!:) I'm so glad he doesn't need surgery. Hopefully the 6 weeks will go quickly. Good luck! Call if you need anything!
He's getting started early with the boy stuff. And this is only the beginning.
As Keith said when Mackai went to the Er to get stitches on his lip - and I quote, "Scars build Character." And like Marie said it is only the beginning. So true. Boys just seem to have it rough in this area. Good Luck. Let us know if you need anything!
When ds was in his frequent falling stage, I was always surprised by how many parents got it and how we didn't have any cps investigations. That is one nasty goose egg! I think it hurts the Mommies more than the boys, though!
