Pics of our BIG MOVE!

Our first family Picture at our new home! (Just before church)
What an adventure this week has been.... I will try to give you the run down of our crazy week.
Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday of last week, we packed and packed and packed! Wednesday after work, Kyle picked up the moving truck and then came home just in time for me to leave with the kids to pick up my sister, Tracy from the airport. She flew in for a week from Arizona. Hoping to spend the week in our new home and doing fun touristy things here in Utah. WOW... was she in for a rude awakening. :) We closed on our house a LOT later than we thought. So, she planned her trip far enough away from our moving date that we could just relax and enjoy our time together. Therefore, we got back from the airport JUST in time to help the guys from the ward move all of our boxes into the moving truck. (Thanks again to all the people who helped us move! You were all a big help!) Then that night we drove to Saratoga Springs. Along came my wonderful sister and Kyle's crazy-awesome cousin, Cody. We got to the house famished, so Tracy and I drove to get some Beto's for dinner. We ate standing around the kitchen island. Kyle and Cody set up the crib for Konnor and Kaylee's toddler bed. What wonderful and thoughtful men they are! But as for the rest of us... we slept on the floor. Thank you to Wendy for lending us sleeping bags and pads. You are the best! Kaylee knew that we slept on the floor, so when she got up on Thursday morning, she wanted to do the same. Below, is Kaylee crashed on the floor. She was zonked!Below: This is Friday when we went to the "old" house to clean. What wonderful friends I have! There were many sisters from our old ward to help clean and take care of the kids. Thank you to all that came and helped! (Sister Chipman, Sister Allen, Sachi, Tionna, Wendy, Shelly, Becki W., my mother-in-law Kathie, and of course my sister, Tracy!) If I missed someone, I apologize, I was breathing in the cleaning supply fumes! :) After cleaning, I went to Shelly's backyard where the kids were playing. I had to take a pic or two. I have really really really really enjoyed living in the "sac" (Cul-de-Sac) with such good neighbors- whom I can totally trust and rely on!
Then I hugged my friends and away I went. Tears were streaming down my face for the next few miles... Until I had to regroup for the sake of seeing where I was driving. Man, I love that group of friends! I hope we will always be close.

Below: This is Friday afternoon. Kyle was playing with the furniture the night before. It is a big room, and we can do just about anything with the arrangement.
Konnor, was smiling for the camera!
Here is my NEW KITCHEN! I have storage space for ALL of my kitchen supplies. I don't know if you know me very well, but I have a A LOT of kitchen things, catering supplies, baking etc... And it ALL FITS!
Funny story: On Wednesday, the moving truck was almost full, and they were loading our kitchen table. (We were given this table when we were married, from Nana. It must have been 100 years old.) Anyway... I hear someone say, "OH NO! I am so sorry Kyle!!!" I came around the corner and see that Kyle is holding the corner leg to the table. Totally torn off the table. No fixing job will do on this one! Kyle just told them all to take the table out and put it in the trash because we have a "table fund" started already to buy a new table. But really! So, now we have this nice house, nice kitchen, and we are using a wabbly card table with folding chairs! :) Now, we need to start putting money into the "Table fund" a little faster! ha ha
Kaylee posing for the picture in my shoes. She is such a funny little thing!
Sunday night: My sister and I making Lebanese Macaroni!!!!!!! Woah, that was good. We had that dish regularly growing up. Since I am half Lebanese, (my dad is full).... it was a dish that he had growing up too. The smell, just took me back! The taste, was a taste of home. And I still have some left overs! Yippee! (Recipe can be given upon request)In conclusion, I love our new home, I love my family, I love all of my friends, and I feel REALLY blessed! And I would love to have you come visit us at our new home!
