Girls Camp!

I LOVE Girls Camp!  And this year was NO different.  For those of you readers that don't know what "Girls Camp" is, it is a once a year camp for girls in the LDS faith ages 12-18 to go have fun and have faith building opportunities!  It is a chance for them to be away from their phones, tv, and just ENJOY the outdoors.  And it was amazing!  We had a western theme.  We called it "How the West Was ONE".  (meaning being "one" with God, one with ourselves, and one all together.)
This is our big group of amazing Young Women and leaders!  I just LOVE them all!
My compadre, Emily and I in matching shirts.  Yes, we planned it.  ha ha
Lauren and I with our cowboy facial hair!  We are looking good with the staches huh!  ha ha
On the last night, we had a testimony meeting.  (A time for anyone willing and wanting to share their testimonies or things they believe with the group).  It was a very powerful night!  These young women are girls of faith, dedication, and courage!  It is not always easy as a teenager to stand up for what is right.  But these girls DO!  And I couldn't be more proud of them!

The old crew

Together again!
There is NOTHING quite like getting our old cul-de-sac together!  We all love each other so much, and our kids are the best of friends!  Just look at these princesses!
Then we took the party outside for our first ever water party in our new backyard!  Good times!  We set up a couple of kiddie pools, and the field sprinkler even made its way by at the perfect time!
I LOVE this pic!  Aren't these little ladies just so pretty!
Giggly Girls and best friends forever!

Another MUST!

On our way home from Mirror Lake, we saw a sign that said, "Provo River Falls".  (Just a few miles down from Mirror Lake) Well we were at the top of the mountain far away from the Provo River I am used to.  What did we do?...  We followed the sign and pulled in!  WOW!  If you have never been here, YOU HAVE TO GO!  It is a perfect place to go with the fam, for a picnic, take pics, explore, and just enjoy the beauties of this world!
Family by the first fall.  Isn't that so pretty!
Kyles mad photography skills at work!!  The sun was setting and it was just breathtaking!
The fam by the second fall.
Konnor is a pretty tough dude!  -Just had to throw that in there!

A MUST do!

If you have not taken your family to Mirror lake... DO IT!  It is beautiful!
Our little ducks in a row!
Kase absolutely LOVES dogs... And he found one on the walk around the lake.  This nice man let us pet his dog for about 10 min!  ha ha.  Kase was in heaven!
THE FAM at Mirror Lake.  And if you are wondering, yes... Kyle took this pic!  Gotta love the timer on our camera!

God Bless the USA!

I LOVE the 4th Of July!  I love this great nation we are blessed to live in!  I love red, white, and blue.  I love watermelon, and I love fireworks!  I love the freedoms we enjoy!  And I love and respect the many soldiers that made/and continue to make this possible!
Here is the fam in our 4th of July best!
The boys and I cheesin it up!
Kyle and little miss America!  She also LOVES this holiday!
Emily and Dreydan joined us for the fireworks!  What fun that was!  Konnor LOVES Drey!  And I LOVE hanging out with those two!  (missing Ty though).
Happy 4th of July to all!

Cascade Springs

My mom came for a quick trip and we decided to go on a fun family outing!  We went to Cascade Springs!  All I can say is GORGEOUS!
 Family pic on the bridge.
There was so many photo ops around!  There were: boardwalks, bridges, beautiful water cascading over rocks, simply beautiful!
Kon-man poking through the bridge!  Doesn't that smile just melt your heart!
 Family pic on the steps!
Kyle is becoming quite the photographer!  Look at this shot, it could be on a postcard or something!  And FYI:  All of the family pics, were taken by him too! He just set the camera timer and ran for it.  ha ha

Swim Lessons

Every year, we have put the kids in swim lessons!  And this year was no different.  Ok, well a little different.  I now have THREE kids in swim lessons!  Kaylee and Konnor are in their own classes and Kase and I did a "Parent and Tot" class!  SO FUN!
Here is the cheeseball himself!  He was VERY good in the water.  Unlike Konnor, he has a healthy fear of the water at this age.  He waits until I enter the water to jump in to me.  He loves front floats and glides too!

Every year Kalli (my mission friend) and I put our kids in the classes together.  This year we did the Parent and tot class together!  It was so fun to see her everyday for a couple of weeks!
Here is the Konman!  He LOVES to be UNDER the water!  Floating is not his favorite, but swimming and gliding under the water is what really makes him happy!  ha ha - Go figure.
Kaylee is my little dolphin swimmer!  She is doing all sorts of techniques!  Her and Noah take the same class every year and they have so much fun together!

Aftermath Photos

This is our beautiful mountain after the fire.  Very sad.  Kyle rode his bike up on the mountain the day after it was contained.  He said, the ground looked like what mars would- just dust and absolutely no sign of life.  I hope and pray we get rain soon and our beautiful backdrop we call home returns to life soon!
Hopefully, people will be careful this 4th of July!  Just go to professional firework shows, don't hold your own party!  It is way too dangerous in these super dry and windy conditions!
