Halloween again and again...

Halloween First round...
Kaylee had her first Halloween at school!  Her school did a big Halloween parade!  IT WAS PACKED!  Here is Kaylee in her recycled Halloween costume!  (THE dress)... This was Friday morning at school.
Round 2:  However, since Kaylee goes to afternoon Kindergarten, we got dressed AGAIN...  She was going to have a party in her room that day, so I didn't want her spilling punch or getting frosting on her DRESS, so we put her in her Aurora costume that afternoon.
The PM Kindergarten had their own parade at the school... and being the awesome mom I am, I went to that one too!  ;)  Here she is super giddy and waving like a fairy princess in a parade!
Round 3-  Friday Night:  Kathie came and babysat ALL THREE KIDS!  So Kyle and I could attend his boss's Halloween party!  THE Scallywag!
So here we are as PIRATES!  And to be specific, I was a Gypsy Pirate.
 Laughing it up with friends!
Here is part of the DigiGang...  Good times had by all.
Round 4:  Saturday afternoon was our wards Trunk or Treat... But both Kaylee and Konnor weren't feeling well.  And Kaylee slept right through the whole thing.  :(
Round 5:  So, Saturday night I woke her up and said lets get dressed to go TRICK or TREATING.  She seemed excited about that.  So she popped up off the couch.  But then to our disappointment, it was RAINING outside.  And aunt Kellie told us to NOT get THE dress wet.  Parts of it were glued.  So we couldn't wear her dress yet again.  She decided on her Jasmine dress that she has had for a couple of years now.  Konnor was going to be a Newsie in his "recycled costume".  But since it was freezing... he wore pants and he kept taking his suspenders off... so. THIS is what you get.
Kyle was outside in the Haunted Garage when I was taking pics so I just have Kase on the changing pad.  LAME, I know.  But here is the cutest Baby Pirate ever.  He was mad, but still cute.
I drove the kids around to just a few houses, since it was wet, cold, and windy.  Then we came back home and by Saturday Night, this is what Kyle and I transformed into... DEATH...  :)
Granted, our makeup was much better at the beginning of the night.  And take note.... I did my makeup with ONE HAND while holding the baby in the other hand!  NO JOKE!  I feel so accomplished.  For those of you that are really reading all of this, if you must know, I was nursing too!  ha ha
Below:  My scary man!  We didn't go all out with the Haunted Garage like in years past, but it was VERY spooky to the new neighborhood kids!  They had nothing to compare it to.
Kaylee even wanted to go in the "Spooky Garage and scare the kids".  (Kaylee's own words)
Her bravery has come FAR in the past couple of years!
So... we were Pirates, Gypsies, Royal Princesses, Newsie boy (who just really looked like he was going to church), Jasmine, and Zombies--- all in a 24 hour period.

My birthday surprises!

My one wish BEFORE my birthday was to get a full 8 hours of sleep!  Ok, so that was more of a miracle request!  :)  But that morning wen I rolled out of bed, I realized...
that my wish did NOT come true!  haha.
The longest consecutive sleep stretch was 2 hours, but hey- my baby is healthy and happy!
For the day, I had REAL  exciting plans of cleaning and doing laundry while my hot husband was at work.  I was going to go to my dear friend Wendy's for a mid-day outing to her house. But when I realized the car-seats were NOT in the truck, I called her to reschedule our play-date.  She called me back a few min later and said, "I will drive to your house, my son just woke up early from his nap anyway."  So, I decided it was time to get out of my jammies and put some slacks on.  I didn't have to totaly look like I was exhausted fron NO SLEEP and doing laundry on this supposedly happy bday of mine.  :) I still had no make-up on, no shower yet, I don't even think I
brushed my hair yet...
But hey... this is the life of a
new mom of 3 CHILDREN right?!
I later heard children talking at my front door, curious me went to investigate and I saw a boy at the door who did not even belong to Wendy~!!!!  I suspiciously opened the door to a porch FULL OF MY GOOD FRIENDS from my old neighborhood!!!!!!!  They then yelled, "SURPRISE!!!!!" I ALMOST BURST INTO TEARS! They filed into my house with fruit, dip, chps, salsa, drinks, crackers, and Jamie's famous chocolate cupcakes! For me to have thought a few hours earlier... "This b-day is going to stink!  No sleep, the usual housework in my jammies, nobody to spend the day with, nothing planned, just waiting patiently for 3:30 (when Kyle comes home!)  LAME!"
For these dear friends of mine to organize an impromptu party, was soooo inspired!  Me feeling alone, and sad, to feeling soooo loved and valued made my day!
Thank you to Wendy for organizing it!  And thank you to: Marie, Lilly, Tionna, Heidi!
You ladies sure know how to make a girl feel loved!
Here is the group pic... minus a few dozen kids!  :)
The 3 of us have little baby boys born within 2 weeks of each other!  Due to something in the water and effective baby planning! ;)  Aren't these babies so cute!

Below: the culprit, Wendy!
So as the party was dying down... my handsome hubby comes waltzing in the house with 2 DOZEN LONG STEM RED ROSES!  A girls best friend!  What a thoughtful and loving husband!
Then Kyle told me to take a shower... so I took a LONG, HOT, RELAXING shower!!!! Then we went to dinner with our whole little family!!!  As we were on the way to eat somewhere, I told Kyle.. I want your mom to come too.  So he arranged to meet her at the Olive Garden by her house!
It was a nice dinner and
nummy chocolate cake for dessert!

And Kase blessed me with two gifts... 1.  His first real smile!!!!!! and 2.  He slept all the way through dinner and the drive too!
It was a day full of unexpected surprises!  Thank you to everyone who made my day great!  And the 140 facebook friends who wished me a happy birthday!  Yes, I counted!  Last year it was 95. I just wanted to get 100! But exceeded my goal!
32 candles, 2 hours good sleep, 5 girlfriends, 12 kids playing, 30 min in a hot shower, 24 beautiful roses, 1 HOT hubby, 3 awesome children, 5 full tummies at dinner, 1 sweet first smile, 140 fb b-day wishes  = 1 happy birthday girl!!!!!!

Grandparents Love

It's official... ALL of the Grandparents have met baby Kase!
We  are so lucky to have such wonderful grandparents for our children!  They are all so different from each-other, but bring such love to our family and our kids ADORE them all!
Above: My mom, Barbara flew from AZ to be here with us for a week.  She was my slave!  ha ha. And she was also sent from heaven!  She helped out sooo much!  Making meals, changing diapers, bathing kids, etc... Thanks mom!

Grandpa Paul flew in from TX. (he was away on business when the baby was born). Kase was VERY happy to meet him!  He was awake and everything!  ha ha.  Gotta love the tender side of a grandpa!
Grandma Kathie was a HUGE help with the kids while we were at the hospital and when we got home!  I will post a better pic of her with Kase.  I love this  pic anyway because it shows her tender love for her grand-baby!
(This is all I have on our camera, the cute ones are on her camera)

Grandma Lynn (ARMY GRANDMA)  She was at a military base in Philidelphia when Kase was born... We had it all planned that she would be home for the big day and help with the kids, but Kase surprised us all and came nearly a month early!  Sorry Grandma.  She was able to spend some quality time with him before deploying to IRAQ.
Grandpa Keith!  He took care of the kids for most of my hospital stay.  Taking Kaylee to kindergarten, and feeding them, bringing them  to and from the hospital!  WOW!  We have some dedicated grandparents!  Thanks!
WE LOVE THESE GRANDPARENTS!

 Isn't he an angel!

Below:  Daddy holding his little tiny feet!
Mommy holding his tinsy tiny hand!
 Basket full of joy!
Our new little man, Kase!  6 ls 3 oz. 18 3/4 inches long
He has been the best baby so far!  He rarely cries, he sleeps right through the kids running wildly through the house, and Kyle yelling at the TV during the BYU game!  Now that is saying something!  He is now 2 weeks and eating well!  He now weighs 6lbs 10 oz.!

Harry Potter FHE

We went to Thanksgiving Point for their family night activity!
The theme was all about HARRY POTTER!
We did our FHE (Family Home Evening) there with the Schempp family too!  It was a lot of fun!
When you first got there, you got to see which "house" you belonged to.  Kaylee got Gryffindor, and then I drew one for Kyle just for fun, and it was "Ravenclaw".  He was so mad about that.
He said, "If it were me doing it, I would have been in the house of Gryffindor for sure!"
So, below... Kyle is trying to hide the Ravenclaw sign.  ha ha
I got a pic anyway!

At the first stop, you were able to make your own wands with the feather in it and all!  So here is Kaylee and Mara making their wands!
Kaylee and Konnor casting spells with their new wands!  Konnor didn't let go of that wand for days!

Kaylee and the Schempps casting spells on
"He Who Must Not be Named".

Kaylee making Potions!

Kaylee and Mara are excelling in the Defense Against the Dark Arts.

Kaylee smelling the pretty flowers in the gardens.
Not really Harry Potter related, but too cute to pass up.

Kaylee and I chillin on a bench while I was contracting, and taking a rest.
BTW:  I love pics that don't show how prego I really am!
This was at the end of my 7th month!  Nice camera angle Kyle!
Thanks for that honey!!

There are a LOT of pics of Kaylee... because Konnor was riding
in the stroller not really doing the crafts.  Sorry Konnor.

All In A Day's Work.... :)

We went for a little hike/walk up Box Canyon in Sanpete County.
It was fun, even for the prego girl (me), and the postpartum (Emily).
Kaylee wanted to climb up this rocky crevice into a cave.  So Grandpa Keith started the climb with her.  And since Konnor wants to do EVERYTHING his big sister does, it took him about 3 seconds to ask Dad to take him up there too!  So... thats just what they did.  The picture doesn't do it justice.  It was pretty high and the cave looked cool.  (I wouldn't know too much though... I stayed at the bottom like a good little prego girl!)

Grandpa Keith & Grandma Lynn with ALL 3 of their grandkids!

When we got back to Grandpa's house, the fun didnt't stop there.  We had a watermelon party in the back yard.  Below:  Kaylee and Aunt Emily.  Aren't they cute?!

The fun just kept going, because Grandpa took the kids in the chicken coop!  Kaylee LOVES petting the chicken!  She got to hold a couple of them with Grandpas help.  She kept saying to the chicken,  "It's ok sweetie, I won't hurt you."  Too cute huh....
Below:  The proof is in the picture that she LOVED holding it!

The fun continues....
Then grandpa, let Kaylee and Konnor ride Shadow!
THAT is always a highlight for my children!
The love of horses  continues one generation after another!
Just look at those smiles!!

And to wrap up the fun-filled day:  We ate pizza and then Kaylee asked Aunt Emily if she could hold her cousin!  That was something she had been waiting and begging to do!!!!
Good times in Mt. Pleasant, Utah!  Thanks to some AWESOME family we have!
Grandpa Keith, Grandma Lynn, Emily, Tyler, and Baby Dreydan--- WE LOVE YOU!

Flower Girl

Kaylee was the flower girl for her aunt Kellie's wedding!
Kellie had this dress hand made for Kaylee.  And she looked like a fairytale princess in it!
She also FELT like a princess in it too!
Below:  Is my little handsome prince.  He likes to do a head-tilt for pics.  ha ha

Kellie and Kaylee (two beautiful girls who sure love each other!)

The theme of the wedding was "Honoring your Heritage".  Kyle and Konnor went dressed in Scandinavian clothes.  Kaylee got to be a European princess.  I wore something I could fit into... (8 mon prego)  That looked Lebanese.

This pic below is my FAVORITE pic!  I just love my darling kids.  The way Konnor is looking back at Kaylee by the pond.  It just melts my heart!
Congrats Kellie and Joe!  It was a beautiful wedding!
